It is a tough lesson that nothing lasts. Change is inevitable and our best chance of happiness is to embrace change and flow with it, letting our disappointments go and looking forward to new plans and adventures.

This song was written at a time when I knew my marriage was over but I had not yet moved on. I was reflecting on what had been good and what was left, and looking for pearls in the ashes.
